Trip 4 – The Hill That Lied

8/1/2025
Black-and-white Lost Cabin Mine comic showing Jimmy and her exhausted search partner climbing a difficult hill during a treasure hunt.
The hill looked manageable from below. This information proved unreliable.
Illustrated comic showing Mabel pushing over another hill while her exhausted search partner and the soggy raccoon react to the decision.
Mabel promises that the destination is just over one more hill. The hill has apparently heard this promise before.
Trip 4: The Hill That Lied

The hill did not look that bad.
This was the first lie.

Jimmy convinced herself that just a little farther would surely be worthwhile. Her increasingly exhausted search partner developed a considerably less optimistic interpretation of the terrain.
Up they went.
And up.
And somehow still up.

By the time the hill finally surrendered, the treasure had not. The soggy raccoon, naturally, behaved as though the entire expedition had been his idea.Card summary:Jimmy trusts one innocent-looking hill and immediately regrets it. Her exhausted search partner and soggy raccoon survive another treasure hunt.
